OUTLOOK EXPRESS 4
- On the Tools menu, click Account, and select the Mail tab.
- Select the profile that you want to change, and click Properties.
- Go to the Servers tab, (bottom of the dialog box) & select the My Server Requires Authentication check box.
OUTLOOK EXPRESS 6
- Open Outlook Express 6
- Click Tools, then Accounts
- Go to the Mail tab, select the email account to edit and click the Properties button
- Go to the Servers tab, check the My server requires authentication checkbox
- Click OK. Click Close. (You may need to close & restart Outlook Express before changes take effect.)
