OUTLOOK EXPRESS 4

  1. On the Tools menu, click Account, and select the Mail tab.
  2. Select the profile that you want to change, and click Properties.
  3. Go to the Servers tab, (bottom of the dialog box) & select the My Server Requires Authentication check box.

OUTLOOK EXPRESS 6

  1. Open Outlook Express 6
  2. Click Tools, then Accounts
  3. Go to the Mail tab, select the email account to edit and click the Properties button
  4. Go to the Servers tab, check the My server requires authentication checkbox
  5. Click OK. Click Close. (You may need to close & restart Outlook Express before changes take effect.)
